Business Development Representative

Position Overview
The Part-Time Member Consultant supports new customer acquisition and revenue growth by converting qualified leads into active subscribers. Working 15 hours per week, this role is responsible for outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and closing new subscription sales. The BDR contributes to the success of VBA’s subscription-based services through consistent outreach and performance-based results.

What You’ll Do
Own outbound prospecting across email, phone, and social channels to identify new opportunities and build a healthy pipeline
Qualify and convert leads into active subscribers by understanding their needs and positioning the right solution
Act as the first touchpoint for prospects and help shape how the world sees our product and brand
Adapt and experiment—test new messaging, outreach methods, and workflows to see what works and evolve quickly
Track your work in our CRM to ensure visibility and learning across the team
Meet and exceed monthly sales goals, while influencing how we define and measure success
Collaborate with leadership to refine our sales process, define our ideal customer, and improve conversion rates
Participate in team feedback loops to improve sales processes and help shape a culture of inclusion, learning, and experimentation.

Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor work visas at this time
Reside in GA, MO, TX
Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and phone access
Availability to work 10 to 15 hours/week, with some consistency in scheduling
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
Ability to operate a computer and standard office software
Must be able to communicate effectively via phone, video conferencing, and email
